  1. possibly, looks more like water. diesel bug looks like this,,
  2. but maybe others don't hold your view. there is definitive proof of the two party system not working, people want to give another party a crack at it, for some it will be reform, others greens, I don't believe there will ever be a party who will cure all problems and keep everyone 100% happy. unfortunately I think this country as we know it will cease to be in a shorter time than most imagine, the rate of its demise is accelerating with alarming speed,to what is unimaginable for many. I won't thankfully be around when that happens.
  3. I just think it's decline has not been addressed in a way that may have reversed or even halted it, the political course of action for years now has not been to cure a problem, whatever it might be, but to simply point the blame to those that were in before you. maybe that is another reason reform are gaining support.
  4. They come here because nothing is done to make them consider anywhere else, and they in some cases are almost encouraged and helped by those nearby who are glad to see the bloody back of them. I find it extremely difficult to comprehend how this country has a procedure for incarcerating people for a comment on social media, and yet illegals are given hotels, cash, free treatments and in some cases allowed to continue committing crimes because nobody wants to be accused of stereotyping at best, and at worse racism. there were warnings this would come and it was ignored then,, and here we are, strangers in our own country.
  5. I think that is accurate, and alternatives will need to be thoroughly discussed and considered, I think it's premature to think only one of those alternatives has been decided.
  6. ok, you may have a point, however, isn't it also obvious to you that concept is prevalent already with whoever is in government. I recall in the covid era there were instances of contracts being awarded to companies that didn't even exist. everybody has an angle.
  7. Purely from a hypothetical viewpoint, how would all you hard working arborists feel about an influx of other arborists all of whom would undercut your rates severely. and those that didn't simply roamed around stealing your tools, your fuel, abusing your wife and children, and every day more came, would you just pack up and sit and watch it happen.
  8. I'm hearing that as a change to how the money [our money] is channeled into the nhs, we already pay national insurance, or those that didn't arrive on a rubber boat pay NI, governments ,just like councils can always find ways to waste money, maybe an independent insurer could be a better bet, I think it should be considered, the option of leaving things that clearly are broken isn't a viable solution
  9. I personally haven't heard reform as a group, or Farage state he/they would privatize the NHS, so I looked it up, and I found this below. Is Labour right to claim Reform UK would ‘scrap the NHS’? – Full Fact FULLFACT.ORG In the run-up to the local elections, Labour is warning Reform UK would make people...
  10. not as challenging as Diane Abbott.
  11. It's Donald Trump, he comes on here incognito to find out from stevenp how to run his country.
  12. I didn't expect one, but at least the circumlocution has paused for now.
  13. I was told by the electricity board they own the meter, but I own the consumer unit and everything after it, I wasn't too concerned at the time as I thought if they own it, they will be responsible for its upkeep and subsequent repairs if it needs any. when I moved here there was no meter, and they fitted one, I asked if it could be moved and the answer was yes but only in the reach of the existing incoming line, however when they arrived the engineer said the power came in the wrong direction for the entry point and they fitted an entire new cable, meter, and all for free. I'm glad I never had to pay for that lot. and wheelie bins are provided by the council, true they come with the property and were I assume left by the previous tenant, what makes you think they are yours?
  14. I did it! I got the A100 running sweet, coil, seals, new exhaust, plug, adjusted timing,. Today was a good day.
  15. No, the UK does not have a stable birth rate. The birth rate, specifically the total fertility rate (TFR), has been declining in England and Wales since 2010, reaching a record low of 1.44 children per woman in 2023. This is well below the replacement level of 2.1 children per woman needed to maintain a stable population maybe there's too many males, in ****************in' frocks, pretending they're female, too many freaks, and too many lefty wankers, mind you less increases of those can only be a good thing. world needs to improve the quality of life not quantity. thousand upon thousand of useless individuals crammed into hotels, while veterans sleep in cardboard boxes!, wtf? put a mare in a field and grazes perfectly content, add a stallion and the grass still grows quicker than can graze it, then there, s a foal, still pretty good quality of life for all, they keep breeding, food is now getting a little sparse, more mud than food, horses are starting to look thin, poor in health, now they all are suffering, adding horses of another breed or color isn't gonna improve the problem is it.
  16. stick a few posters showing the empty houses on the kent beach, they'll be occupied in no time at all. you'll have so many doctors and surgeons in the area, no more waiting for appointments.
  17. New front door to House of Lords cost £9.6m... but doesn't work NEWS.SKY.COM A security officer had to be permanently stationed at the door to press a button to...
  18. how much money could be saved by not putting thousands upon thousands of people who have never contributed in this country, and likely never will, in luxury hotels at the taxpayers expense old people in care homes in almost every case will have contributed most of their working life, everyone gets old including illegal immigrants, how will their care be funded? organ harvesting,,, interesting idea, at least there will be a good supply of doctors and surgeons to wield the scalpels, I'm sure I heard somebody say they were arriving by the boatload.
  19. waiting for the next rubber armada?
  20. A woman went to her doctor, for the baby's 6 month check. He weighed the baby, checked it's reflexes, listened to its chest and asked lots of questions. "This baby seems a little underdeveloped" he says. "Is she bottle fed or breast fed ?" "Breast fed" says the lady. "I'll need to examine you" says the doc. "Could you strip to the waist please?" The woman agrees, and the doctor feels her breasts, rubbing and stroking them in every direction, before cupping them both in his hands. He makes a few notes in his files, before turning to her. "I'm not surprised your baby isn't thriving" he says "you dont have any milk !" " I know that" says the woman. "I'm her grandmother......but I'm f***ing glad I came !"
