  1. Go on then, who is your neighbour? What is the greatest commandment (the second will help you work out the previous question)?
  2. Need to check that stat ☝️
  3. Quick check... Nah, load of...
  4. You really didn't get it did you?
  5. Just a reminder of what you said.
  6. We keep trying the Tommy one, he's in jail for contempt of court. Simple as unless you know better?
  7. No, you need to open up what you are saying. 1- he's in jail because he broke the law, if you can provide evidence of otherwise get him out. 2- Connection please between Lee and Tommy not anything else or else you are trying to drag a dialogical conversation into conspiracy theory territory. 3- Has it occurred to you that if Tommy is spreading hate about another group that you cannot complain that another group is spreading hate the opposite direction? If you're a radical racist then you are the same as your enemy???
  8. No he's in jail because for contempt of court an 10 breaches of a court order, in that he lied about a Syrian refugee, who sued him for libel, and continued to repeat them several times. No, there is no connection between him and Lee Rigby apart from when you brought it into the discussion.
  9. ANYTHING. Is wrong, including racism, end of. If he wants no more mosques then that's another thing altogether and throwing Lee Rigby into this is just ridiculous as it has nothing to do with Tommy in the slightest and is a total tangent.
  10. But religion comes under racism laws.
  11. Does he want the same with Gurdwaras, Synagogues, churches etc? He has a point and its racist and wrong.
  12. Letters to the editor? Factual evidence?
  13. Looks like a lot of gumtree ads where the seller would want a lot for it as they've seen similar ads. They have however stored it which needs to be added into Steven P 's breakdown so yes, £5-10.
  14. Seems to be a lot of conflicting ideas here, how about we differentiate between wars and terrorism? Wars, as we know them at this time, have some form of rules or guidelines and if you are an aggressor without a uniform you are likely to be shot no questions asked. Terrorism, not so much on one side, the ones that aren't in uniform, and if they push it too far then rules are generally forgotten full stop. Yes grey areas abound but that's life.
  15. OK, an allegory. A ship has several holes in it and is in danger of sinking, do you try and plug the holes in turn or jump in the lifeboat? Oh, sorry, there's no lifeboats.
  16. It's no point saying that they are doing it so we won't neither as it just doesn't work. Nasty Chinese digging up coal to produce electricity so they can make cheap tat to sell to the rest of the world!
  17. I had some this year and it was hard to split, sometimes bouncing the axe out and when it cut into the wood I left it for 10 seconds as it groaned and crackled. Also had a lot of dark "thorns" radiating out from near the centre to the bark, but that could be species???
  18. Every year we are getting warmer here on earth and it is our use of non-renewable energy that is causing it, therefore we have to get a scurry on or your grandchildren and their kids will see a tidal wave of humanity heading here as theirs turns to desert.
  19. Populist politics
  20. BillQ

    Eh!

Looks like it was liquid damped too! We used to replace them regularly in a past life, annoying but not the end of the world as you get an indication of pressure from the tail end.
  21. Alder? Just about to put some on my fire...
  22. Got to laugh really, do the advertisers specifically target GB News readers with alzheimers adverts? You do also realise that it is just their "provisional" figures?
  23. All academic really, you could never drive 800 miles in a day legally and its like the early days of change over from animals pulling carts to vehicles and all the technological problems that we had back then. Perhaps we need to try something different rather than say "We've done it this way for years and we shouldn't try to change. "?
  24. Another vote for Einhell. I have one and two x 3 and 4Ah batteries as I can be cutting with one pair and charging the other. Seems to cut well as long as you aren't forcing it otherwise it can stop suddenly, but you can hear when it is labouring and ease off.
