Hi buddy I had it done over ten years ago, awesome results best £800 i've ever spent, completely transformed my life, company are called optimax and prices include all aftercare.

Just had a check up with local optician and still 20/20 vision:thumbup:

Any of you lot had laser eye surgery or know anyone? If so how do you find it in the tree world. I have slight astigmatism in my left eye, and would like it corrected but, am skeptical, eyes shouldn't be messed with.

For what its worth, and that probably isn't much, as I have no experience with this. I would be very concerned about having any kind of prodedure on my eyes. Even a very small risk to my sight is enough to put me off.

Maybe i'm just a big girl though. I cant even stand anyone trying to get a speck of dirt out of my eye for me:blushing:

Think maybe you're a big girls blouse:001_tt2:

Seriously though it's a great procedure, although slightly freaky looking at the laser, seeing smoke with the good eye and smelling burning flesh all at the same time:scared1:

The whole smelling burning thing isn't really selling it to me mate. Yes I am a big girls blouse, I dont deny it. I havent got a problem with other peoples flesh burning, but mine is a different matter.:blushing:

arbclimber you big girl! :001_tt2:

my mum had it done and she has never looked back either. she is always in front of a PC and it helped her to no end!

i have one eye that is slightly long sighted and the other is slightly short sighted, reading is a mightmare because one eye is blurry and the other is in focus, makes it so hard, need glasses for any close work. doesnt affect my climbing though as im not looking at fine print and stuff like that.
