was actually a trick question, isn't even a fungus

 

 

Ya sneaky bugger :sneaky2:. The colours not quite right but it's incredibly like a giant puffball.

 

I have a feeling that's going to be remembered by some on here when you ask for a bit of ident' advice next time. You may not get an entirely sensible answer :laugh1:

Does look remarkably like a puff ball, one to keep in the bag of tricks for certain!

 

a fine phaeolus and laeti can be faked with these things too:thumbup1:
