First, does anyone know of Tim Bendall? If not this thread dies here but if you do I'd be interested to know how he's doing...

 

He was my NPTC instructor / assessor years ago in the Gloucestershire area but I think he was seen to be so good (and he was - worked for Geoff March Tree Maintenance, Stroud and could sned larch quicker than a harvester) that NPTC asked him to be a director or some such promotion...

 

Anyone? If not, neh bother.

He was my instructor on my felling course a very good man, haven't spoke to him for along time but i will try and get his number tho as amate is in contact with him still.

I could do that too - make it jump far enough off the stump and when it hits the floor most of the branches snap off (works best on steep banks though) :thumbup1:

 

Don't think that's quite what TCD had meant though :blushing:

Tim is also one of the NPTC / LANTRA (?) verifiers

 

Yes he is a TV and runs standard setting courses for LANTRA. Does a bit with/through Huqy UK as well.
