I've always had visor and ear defenders never really tried ear plugs. I get sick of getting stuff in my eyes but i find whenever i climb with glasses on they steam up does anyone else get this problem??

Yep I'm unfortunate enough to be a perscription glasses wearer, My specs steam up all the time,

My employer tried to make me wear safety goggles over my specs and under my visor. i told him to expect me to loose a limb in the first hour!

When I'm working for myself I employ a female groundie, She is much more conciencious then any of the local lads. She's been off on maternity leave for 6 months and will probably be off for another 6, I have really noticed just how high a standard her work is no she isn't around! She wears bib and brace chainsaw trousers but she doesn't climb. Our local dealer had some women specific trousers in stock a while ago think they were made by SIP

Glasses (prescription or otherwise) are a pain in the neck. They steam up at the worst possible times, the rain pours down them and makes them smeary, chain oil sticks like sh!t to a blanket on the lenses, try to wipe it away and it just smears all over the place. As for having to wear the safety specs over the top of them, well I wouldnt.

Yep but they are the lesser of two evils! without my specs I'd most probably cut my foot off.
