Just watched it again and they are both about the same ish till 28 (especially since the oregon had half a bar start) then the stihl must hit something!

If it was CSI we could zoom in, rotate and enhance the vid and then read the serial number off the nail :001_smile:

just for reference as well what was the bar and chain on the stihl? any idea, as if it was a 3/8 0.063 then the pro lite should have spanked it really due to being so much narrower kerf,

No, the MS260 was a .325 .063, these were both calibrated logs at the Arb Fair @ Ciren...think the one on the right looks smaller because its slightly further away. It really is a quick bar and chain combo (Oregon narrow kerf)....at least it's worth a try then you can make your own decision?!!

I thought oregon made husky bars anyway:sneaky2:

Some of them (most of them i think), the rest is made in norway.

the laminated ones has tiny rivetheads!? on the side of the bar if they come from norway.

Have seen test like this made on other forums were the 95vp has come out on top as well, personally i don't use the pixel/95vp set up as it's not as tough as regular .325 chain.

And to have the most out the pixel/95vp chains you need to use the bars made for it (Pixel=Husky Microlite=Oregon) othervise you risk to the beeing thicker then the chain :)

Just some blal bla bla from me ,,,

I think the stihl bars knacked. Look at the nose theres a nice chunk of paint missing from an otherwise clean bar at the top tip . Its probably been leavered out of something and resulted in a banana bar .

I cuts fine until the whole bar is in the wood like most bent bars.

Im sure the oregon does cut quicker but that 026 is pitiful.

If you look and freeze the image at 4 seconds, you will see that the Stihl Bar is clear with do debris along the entire length. Think that he picked something up as he hit the deck when he ran through.
