Hi all

Check this out

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9ipPCLOC7M]YouTube - Stihl 'v' Oregon Bar and Chain[/ame]

The solution in this instance is a 95VPX chain [narrow kerf .325 050] fitted on a Prolite .325 050 bar.

The result less resistance in the wood and a much faster cut

Hmmm think something wasnt quite right there. Stihl bar flew through it, OK so did the oregon but near the end the stihl slowed right up. Didnt look right to me.

Didnt really want to butt in, but i was thinking the same!

There was little between the saws near half way through, then the stihl bar seemed to be bogged all the time.

Never a fan of comparisons like this, my 260 cuts like the stihl bar one on the vid.............
