Made one very similar to haironyourchest, except mine doesn't have any music.

Found it easier than the saw horses from the manual handling point of view.

Made from an old sleeper, some old fence posts and some M12 X 180 coach screws.

I like a contraption called The Buckingham Woodstation. This seems to cope with wriggly sticks. I wish it had de-mountable wheels and a draw-bar though. Then it could be towed by a quad.

I like the look of that thing, especially how it hinges over to empty it out. Saw a guy using one online to minimise the amount of handling of his logs. He'd split logs ito billets, stack and season them like that, then when he had an order he'd cut them in the buckingham woodstation, and then flip it and empty straight into his truck. Seemed like a good efficient operation with minimal kit.

Something like this? The Buckingham is great but doesn't seem to appeal to others. I had Laurie make three different sizes for me. He's retired now and I hope enjoying a well earned rest.
