The rated power is on about the same level as most fairly recent 90cc saws, and this is a much larger and heavier saw.

 

Less than 7 hp from 116cc is extremely low.

 

Yes but there's no nostalgia with a new saw, you just don't get it. :thumbup:

Of course there's the attraction of having something that you can't easily get, I'd quite like one but realistically for a work saw of that capacity I'd be looking at something more modern. That said I've been searching all over the net to see if I could find somewhere selling them but no luck.

 

Still looking for a Mac 10-10 or similar with no luck, went to the local Saturday market a couple of weeks ago and on the way in met a guy coming out carrying two McCulloch strimmers and what looked like and indeed turned out to be a 10-10, asked him if it was a 10-10 and he'd no idea what it was. Looked like it had sat for some time as there was white corrosion on the air filer cover. I asked if he was going to sell it on but he reckoned he'd fix it and use it. It'll never happen IMO and I must have missed it by minutes :thumbdown:
