Hi All

I'm doing some work for a client who has asked me to source the following

Oak sleepers either:

2 x (1800mm x 225mm x 100mm)

2 x (1800mm x 225mm x 50mm)

Or

2 x (1800mm x 250mm x 100mm)

2 x (1800mm x 250mm x 50mm)

Excuse the sleeper mention but that's what they think they are !

They are going inside a Glamping hut so will need to be ready to use inside so give me your best gents pm if you feel happier ?

Thanks in advance

David

You'll be lucky to get dry 4". I used to go to Witnesham sawmill, but since Titchmarsh sold out, they're not selling timber anymore. I can do the 2" for you, but the 4" is beyond my stock sizes. You could try Suffolk Tree Services down Lavenham way. They mill and store timber and might have some 4". Tim Barber at Eastern Counties Sawmilling may have some part seasoned 4". Ben Sutton at Sotterly might be worth a call, but he knows how to charge!

There's A do what ya likey in Nayland (not a proper one), might be worth a shout.

Ha ha, they are nice people to deal with, and certainly cut oak.

I understand they have bought the Goodwin/ Titchmarsh mill.

Sound guys.

No, not local but work the area a little...Have stayed in their yard briefly and come across them from time to time.

I can remember Fred turning up at Cheltenham many years ago in a bang spanking new Bentley.

Sorry for the derail.
