That's cool........ What's the resin your using and did you get any problems with trapped bubbles, it doesn't look like it. Great idea.

Used one that someone else on here recommended but can't remember what it's called

Had a few bubbles initially but warmed a bit with blowtorch and they soon came out

If it's set tomorrow plan on chucking it back on the lathe but may leave a few days.

Easy composites do a Glass cast resin. Can be used as a pouring resin to give a glass top. Brilliant stuff ,bubbles just disappear and it can be cast up u 16mm thick
