I've had no choice as I've never had anything else. Berlingos were good for it about 15 years ago. I've only ever had ford escort vans. I've taken them where many 4x4s have never tried.

Ground clearance is the big concern.

I ripped the guts out of a 4x4 delica and use it as a mobile toolbox/dog kennel/towbarge, it goes in and out of steep dips/climbs none of our pickups can because there is virtually no overhang back or front. Cant think of the last time I had to walk to a machine in the woods.
