A forum member of another forum I am on has several you tube videos of the 620 running a 27" bar. You could watch them to see what a 620 does with a longer bar. I have run a 590 with a 24" bar and it did fine but the saw had some port work done on it.

Thanks all, I find the echo fine for my needs authough not sure how long it will last as it doesn't feel as well built as a still, friend has a 461 on order so we will see how that goes! Wondering if I should have spent the extra now!!

 

You should have bought a Stihl or Husqvarna rather than the Echo.
