Anything they can do with in this situation 4 large pin trees in a garden the size of a postage stamp will get more pictures of the trunks today there growing at very strange angles.

Next door neighbor has cracking in a lot of his pointing his lawns pretty much dead.theyve had a surveyor round but he wouldn't happily say it was just the trees causing that.

Cracked pointing may or may not be due to subsidence - if on a shrinkable soil. Any pictures? Normally indicated around building corners and openings (doors and windows)

If there is movement, contact their insurers who should start investigations such as level monitoring to look for seasonal movement. It's not a short process but goes towards proving that the trees are at fault.

Lack of light and moisture could be the cause of the lawn dying (probably is) but there's not too much that can be done about that apart from severing roots and installing root barriers.

I'm not too au fait on this so correct me if I'm wrong, but could the ground 'heave' if the trees are removed causing more damage to pointing etc etc..? If the amount of water these trees absorb is stopped in such a confined space the effect of heave would be noticeable wouldn't it?
