Chainsaw trousers

I'm interested to hear recommendations for chainsaw trousers suitable for a groundie. I don't climb and I'm built for comfort, not for speed Of course, if Jonesie has any great offers on, I'd be keen to hear them.

are you fat or thin then, i have 2 pairs of stihl single protection, they are about 30inch waist and for a small guy about 5'5". midget trousers for a groundie that chucked it, hardly used

Youve opened up a can of worms here mate , Do a search pal, there are LOADS of trousers threads on here, With every pair compared to the other, youll be reading all night if you want to.

 

Personally ive got stihl hi flex, ive a few pairs now and i do really liek them, Although i did like the look of a pair of type a sips that i guy i know was wearing last time i worked with him so i may try them next time.

 

 

As i say your best bet is a quick search and youll find alot of trouser related stuff on here

the simple answer is whats your budget. then all yo do is either seek out a better second hand pair on here or call up jonesie and tell him how much you have to spend and he will give you the best deal he can mate

Budget is a part of it, but I'm interested in hearing about the most comfortable fit from anyone on here who likes their food like me

sorry, i keep forgetting about clarks. if you want value for money then go for stretch airs, they will last much longer than a few pairs of the cheaper ones, the problem with most trousers are the crotch failing and this is mainly caused by bad fitting, get a good pair of braces or maybe bib and brace, i dont know if the stretch airs come in bib and brace. either clarks or justin will soon tell you:001_smile:

Yve, they look good but I will only be doing 3 days a week when I eventually get started so would be looking a bit cheaper.
