I think I'm right in saying that this mother has just encased herself with her eggs, in order to provide her offspring their first meal when they hatch.

....if I'm wrong then I've just given her credit for nothing..

She has just encased herself and the eggsac to protest herself and her offspring, when the spidernymphs are ready to lave the eggsac, she will open it and the nymphs will leave the eggsac, but they will stay with in the encasing until they molt for the frist time and the the Mother will open up to the outside and the offspring will disperse into the outside world.
