Ive been looking at nissan navara or a l200

Aside from my cheekiness, get a toyota or a landrover mate. Those are hairdressers cars IMO, little more than shoping trollies.:thumbdown:and a lot of pikies round here have navaras, so if you are worried about the image a transit will portray.......

i would have thought if you were going to do logs loose you would want a tipper, a 4x4 tipper is what you want and im sure someone has one for sale.....

Im not 100% but im guessing a landy would pull more weight?? if you had a nice big trailor you could collect timber from tree surgeons aswell as use it to deliver your logs mate

get a landy pickup ! its as good as money in the bank :001_smile:they hold there value so well (which obviously isnt so great when your buying but in the long run it will pay off. and theres plenty of got landy folk on here who will say the same ! i hope :confused1:

The landy can pull 3.5 tonnes legally, as it has permanent 4x4 on the road. Its nearest competitor is the ranger (i think) which can pull 2.7, last i heard. That means you can pull a fully loaded 10'ifor. IMO the amount of logs you can get in the back of a navarra etc isnt worth the diesel to deliver them.:001_smile:Then you have to handball them out too.

If you dont need to go off road then I think a cabstar or transit would be the sensible option.

you should still get my rig though....:sneaky2::lol:
