Thanks Steve,

Project on hold for while, just bought an original oil painting :D

And now officially skint, though hopeful it will happen. My other option, but not for these folding knifes will be a nice custom blade and mammoth ivory handle from Russia. Don't suppose you got any ???

i got some flint in the rockery if you want to try that:lol:

 

 

no ivory i'm afraid.

 

 

if you only want a pair of handle blanks i wouldn't charge you mate.

 

you could swap them for an interesting lump of wood

Just saw this thread, so sorry for the slow response, I am a wood stabilizer mostly making blocks for vaping mods but a block is a block so happy to help out and process some wood for a small fee.

 

I'm up at vapefest in shrewsbury this weekend taking about 100 blocks with me if anyone is interested.

 

Hardwoods process well, yew is a bit tricky and doesn't respond well to it due to it being so resinous itself. The holly would be no problem though, should come out rock hard and polish up like glass.
