Have lived and worked in America, great experience...some of the most decent people I've met.

 

On the subject of America or Germany it's probably worth remembering that for the entire period of the Cold War it was an American led NATO that defended Germany from the Soviet Union.

Thanks scotspine. I find it often odd that people have opinions drawn from the media having never visited or lived in my country. To each their own I guess.

Spent some time visiting the US and I've found the people to polite, accommodating and incredibly friendly. Very patriotic but in a way that they want to show visitors everything the country has to offer. I love the place.
