What do you do when chipper breaks?

There is no way I would ever entertain doing a tree job without a chipper. So for that reason I knew the rates of the local hire companies, knew enough friendly tree lads that could help us out in a tight fix and eventually had the luxury of a spare machine. Knowing a good mechanic also helps a lot in the first place.

 

Same for the truck except I didnt have a psre one of those:001_smile:

 

If its at a busy period you dont want to piss about so best to plan ahead while you can.
