The top gear on my Jensen a530 went yesterday, got a new one due today and started stripping the old one out yesterday but couldn't budge it off past this point, anyone got any tips for getting it off? Otherwise will have to try to get it off with an angle grinder and a drill?ImageUploadedByArbtalk1467097080.647356.jpg.f360923db767c16f1d47d1314316ce10.jpg

Looks to me you might have been hitting the end of the shaft. If that's the case it will have grown in diameter and gone tight in the bore. Drive it back clean up the mushroomed part, oil it and ideally pull it off. Often the cleaning up and oiling will make it easier anyway.

Managed to get it off with a puller from Halfords like the one above. Gonna see if can get a copy made incase it ever goes again as the replacement was a ridiculous price for what it is
