Farmer who owns the site where my mates shed is was doing some retro farming this morning - 1947 Field Marshall, single cylinder 47hp, all original. His dad bought it in 1960 for £80 and it was used up until early 70s. Last time used in anger was 1974 for the potato harvest as apparently it was a wet harvest and it was the most powerful tractor they had!
