If you're newish to a zigzag you treat it exactly as a knot as that's auto pilot. I think you'll understand what I mean if you have a play. Tis only my opinion from my experience, give it a go

Hi guys been using a zigzag for a while so am quite used to it and have used it in wet and dry ive had a look at the mechanism and the avoal shape metel with the notch cut out dosent seem to be moving now this might be normal will have to compare to a other zigzag but hte links that cracked on the older one seem free and fine no crack ect

Isn't Marlow quite a soft core rope compared to tachyon.

I'm on my 3rd now and not found any to be a problem in wet or dry conditions.

Give it a good overnight soak and clean out between the bars and pins to get the movement back as tree gunk can quickly set solid in there.

Any recommendations on cleaning fluid used or hot water and soap
