Anyone got any old climbing rope that they can donate to the National Trust Formby. They need rope to help Red Squirrels traverse the site. Hope you can help. Many Thanks.

How do you donat might have some im based in banks Southport

 

Think you just ring them on the number below., this was on the NTFormby twitter

 

"We need old climbing rope for crossing bridges for the squirrels to move around the site"

Any problems pm me and I can probably collect it as I'm not that far from you. I can then take it to them as I go there everyday to walk the dog.

Why specifically climbing rope?

 

Not sure, maybe its harder wearing or takes the fat Red Squirrels pumped up on the monkey nuts that the kids feed them.:biggrin:

Am I the first to wonder whether they make safety harnesses small enough for squirrels, and whether they can work the carabiners?
