It will lift 1.2tonne on the linkage? If so that is hoofing! My AGT850 will do about 600kg and the wheels are off the ground. Ability to lift a bulk bag of sand etc would be a bonus. Cdo.

Only going by what it says on the tin! Obviously I'm not going to put that amount on its rear end,

Yes. My 835 forestry spec is artic steer and I reckon you'd be putting loads of strain on it with a heavy load on the rear linkage (can lift 660kg in the manual).

I have 35m winch and a zanon flail which are 250-300kg amd seem pretty perfect weight wise. No noticeable changes to ride or manoeuvrability.

The length of the wheelbase and the bias of weight at the front will achieve the impressive lift capability. Something held at arms length requires more force to lift. A kids seesaw you can equalise different weights or send the other higher depending on location in relation to pivot point.Or as in the goIdoni's case makes a greater counter balance I would certainly use its lift ability in a yard area. I've lifted excessive weight with front end in the air and used it independent brakes to steer. Because of the laws of motion. It works better in reverse.
