Trying to get my gear sorted for 38/39

Already have a few bits including harness

Rope

Bunch of biners

Pulleys

Spurs

Flip line

I'm guessing I'll need some Prussik loops and a few more clip.

Anybody else got any thoughts??

Hoping to get out climbing before I hit the course so I don't look a complete beginner.

Hurry up and do my little patio then we can go for a climb in the woods behind my house You can borrow some bits off me if worse comes to worse. You might want a thicker line than your Srt one for the course, prob work better with the prussiks.

Dual purpose lanyard would prob be better than a wire core for the 38.

Other than that you pretty much got it covered. I'd practice some knots that you'll have to demonstrate.. Bowline, alpine butterfly, blakes hitch, fishermans...

If you go Kingswood, you can borrow prussiks and krabs etc. One guy on my course borrowed everything except harness cos everything he turned up with was either something you wouldn't let your worst enemy climb in or was for rock climbing!!!

The place I'm doing mine in had full kits for everyone that needed them, or even just bits. So you shouldn't need to buy anything if you don't want to.
