Petemate_390xp has done an awesome job on my 395xp, well worth the money if you want a hot saw without the risk of killing the engine. mine is tuned for carving work so I can get those big blocks off quickly.

get in touch with him if you want the most out of your saws!!!

I'm getting a muffler for an 880 modded by a lad Scott Wajtasik... but would be interested to hear what you've had done to your saw.

How about a video as well?

pete...ive always fancied a ported saw. i have an ms200t which is currently out of action. i think its fine, just probably needs a carb kit and since i was due a new saw anyway i just replaced it and havent got round to getting it put right. would it be worth playing with a used saw or would it be better to send you a new one?

Similar question to Steves; I'm thinking of keeping the Echo (see other thread - hell of an echo in here) since it's gorgeous balance outweighs it's other faults. It's not even run in yet - when is best to modify and what is the effect on a) engine longevity b) fuel consumption? Thanks...

I do 25 litters in a saw and do the work on them as for fuel consumptionor it uses a little more but the saw cuts faster:thumbup1:i have had my 390xp for two years now and it gets used five days a week..

Thanks

Pete..
