I've had a 150 rub threw the oil feed near the drive / pump , you've got to keep them clean , we got some conifer slivers that put pressure on the plate .. , Have you looked at all the oiling system to trace the cause ??

I don't think it's the pump on a 150, mine was real bad from the day I got it so took it back to the shop but that didn't make any difference. It got hit by a falling tree one day so I had to get a new body, handle and what not, after that it oiled a treat. As it still had the original pump it makes me think there was a slight blockage between it and the filter in the tank. Maybe try blowing it out and then run some rapeseed oil for a few days to see how it goes, it's far thinner.

Its synthetic and also made up of refined high grade oils according to the label...stops resinification during downtime and reduces wear. It seems to have anti-fling qualities too. It feels very smooth and slippy...chain seems to pick up less crud. Oils well on my saw. Very happy with it...£4 or thereabouts for this
