....Just heard that a work colleague of mine has died!
Always sad to hear of someones demise.
He taught me a lot about felling big trees and his experience will be well missed. ...
At least you can pass your knowledge on to others so that his memory & skills live on.

Absolutley gutted! Really nice genuine chap! Dealt with him only a few times over the last 10 years or so but always a pleasure. I remember him getting the cider equiptment.

 

 

 

Gutted :( id say he wasnt even tht old! Nearly 60 or just over?

 

 

Don't know if you're interested, but the funeral is on Tuesday in Waddington. If you know anyone else that knew him you can tell them as well

Never an easy time losing an old friend.

Cheers fella. Found a old set of his work uniform that I'd kept for some reason, it got to me more than I thought it would. Probably because I know I'll never wear it again!

Well what a day! It was a good funeral, standing room only. A well respected man. People came from up and down the country and getting near 150 people. Got a bit emotional when his wife said how much he respected me. As said he was a great man and will be sadly missed!
