Zubat is my favourite but occasionally a Gomtaro for very fine reductions. Coupled with a sawpod they are fantastic.

Tried a few of the cheaper models but they fall apart, only downside to the Silky's is the price of a replacement blade. I'd be looking at buying a box of 20.

i use a gomtaro with a sawpod its great on small fruit trees etc. and with a sharp blade will still eat through 4 inch diameter branches and stuff, i prefer the straight blades to the curves ones as i like to use it for felling cuts on some stuff and it keeps a better hinge.

I don't have a problem using my Zubat to make little felling cuts yeah there not as accurate but its good enough. Have a Gomtaro but never use it now the zubat is a good compromise between fine cut and aggresiveness.

Keep meaning to buy my blades in bulk, anyone know if you make a good saving?
