Our Forst has 51 hours on the clock and all of a sudden has decided it doesint want to start anymore! Cranks over however won't kindle up. It will kindle up with jump pack leads tho. I have Been on the phone to Forst who have been brilliant to be fair! They have suggested we upgrade the battery to 100Ah which we will be doing tomorrow. Fingers crossed as it does not look good turning up at clients house and jumping the chipper!

I'm interested to hear if anyone had this issue with the ST8

Cheers

Had the same problem on my st8 , was a loose connection on the alternator plug

Once cleaned and re conected run it up for 30 mins to charge the battery

It's done a further 150 hours since with no problems ... Be worth checking your machine before you put a battery on it
