Why does no one ever go for the 390XP?

 

It's 0.1 KW less powerful than the 395XP, but quite a bit lighter. What's wrong with it?

 

I did . Spud ported my 390 . In standard trim it was not as aggressively ported as the older 385 that I had stolen but now its as good if not better . Bottom line though its not as good as a 395 . I am lucky as I have both . 390 runs 28" 3/8 and 395 runs 36" .404 so different jobs .

Cool. I used one for a few minutes just playing around a few years ago in America. That was modified too by a guy I met in California, who showed me a bit a about porting. Never got any done by him 'cause I couldn't then get them to the UK on the plane.
