Stolen Saws

Hi,

Just a shout out about 5 saws we had stolen from a vehicle today,Great Dunmow/Badfield area.

They were..

Ix husq 266

2xhusq 372

1xhusq 550

1x stihl 084,

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

May have serial no:s for a couple of them , but will need time to check.

It's rife in essex right now, I'm sorry to hear of your loss of saws, but to others in the area, keep an eye on your kit there are gangs doing the rounds looking specifically for our kit.

Not just Essex.

 

Climber saw a transit casing up our pickup and chipper from the tree in the back garden, when the passenger realised they'd been spotted they sped off before the groundsman could get round for the registration no.

 

It's almost a daily occurrence.

We had two Husky's and 3 drills taken from a locked van in Beckenham last week.

A guy in a lime green scenic, all on cctv, fake plates.

Sadly very little of this stolen gear ever seems to turn up. Makes you wonder where it all ends up.This is our second hit in recent years,add that to non payers and it adds up to ridiculous amounts.

The crime was reported through 101, I have since been advised that crime investigation have 7 day window to deal with a crime of this nature, gives the criminals a good head start hey.

I'd be looking on Gumtree. Will have a long a look out for them if I get dragged round the bootsales this weekend.

Cheers Felix,.someone else suggested Gumtree and bootfairs. I have been keeping an eye on Gumtree.

Do you know where the bootfairs are held in Dunmow area? I am not local, so struggling on that one.
