Aspen will make no differece, hot start no deco valve, choke in and out to lock throttle open, purge fuel bulb, brake on, crank engine.

And doing all that will make no difference either if the saw has the usual 550 "hot start" issues . i could have flung mine down the hill a few times !

Thanks njm other then throwing it down the hill have you found a solution to this problem?

Mine was still under warranty , Dealer tried all the Husky " Fixes " , Husky still stick to there guns that the saws are being flooded by incorrect starting procedure when they will not Hot start . These saws are running hot and lean when you switch off the heat sink is very high . I made adjustments to the Autotune unit which cured the hot start issues , i would not go down this road until you have tried the dealers first due to the fact your saw is not very old , get any updated parts / software done under warranty first .

Aspen may help a bit as it will not evaporate as quick as pump fuel ,

Hi NJM,

We have had a lot of reports Aspen does help with hot restarting on some machines but if there is a fault that will need sorting and I second your recommendations!

If I can be of any help please contact me direct 07568108953

All the best

Eddie

Thankyou, could you let me know how you altered the auto tune if mine doesn't come Bach fixed and working correctly,I'm going to try aspen on all my saws to see if I see improvements anyway

The only difference I noticed with Aspen is that I don't have a headache or bad throat at the end of the day.

Couldn't tell any difference in how the saw was running, or starting.

cheers, Steve
