This.

What case have you got?

I use a company called Solent Plastics.

Look under the Portable Protective Waterproof Case tab; I can't recall the size but it's orange and I got my local sign shop to make up a handful of First Aid stickers with the obligatory + symbol.

They seem to work really well and can take the knocks and bumps when on site.

Thanks for posting that, just ordered 2 box's to replace what we use now and give a bit extra room to add a few more specific items.

Standard green box's just ain't up to being on site and very easy to miss and get forgotten when packing up, been looking for something like these for a while 👍

I'll pick up some stickers for the outside from Hallfrauds as sure I'd see them there before.

Same as a lot of you. Can't seem to keep my kit attached to my harness so I have a brand new kit in my harness bag at the foot of the tree at all times.

I recently cut through the top of my thumb with a silky while on my CS40 pruning course in the top of a big oak. The instructor offered to send a first aid kit up to me but I opted to come down. I was down in a matter of seconds on a zig zag one handed.

It was at that point that I realised that in the event of a more serious cut with a chainsaw, a quick descent would be my best option with a brand new kit waiting at the foot of the tree.

Trying to untie a kit from the back of a harness with one hand while spraying claret everywhere doesn't seem like it would be that easy.

Which is why I gave up re-tying battered first aid kits onto the back of my harness.

Totally agree

Did the same thing with a zubat on my forearm, got out the tree quick on the hitch climber.Id rather have a better kit in my kitbag at the bottom of the tree than strapped on to my harness where its hard to reach,if it doesnt fall off 100 times first
