Filling the 540 is a PITA, the oil fits, but not the mix, so I have to take it off.

Small price to pay though.

Haven't tried the new Husky can, but my last one was so woefully bad I hoyed it on a big fire.

 

 

Nonsense they fit fine!

Agree on the husky can, did the same thing, would happily pay double for the stihl

I can force mine in (fnarr fnarr), but there is inevitably a petrol explosion when it doesn't disengage.

Had a dealer check they fit before i bought a 540 or probably wouldn't have got the saw cos hate the husky cans so much!
