Blue tongue

I'm thinking of getting some 11.7mm climbing rope. What's Yale blue tongue like with a prussic and maybe down the line a hitch climber set up?

It'll be much better with the hitch climber, 13mm is better for the prussik IMO but it won't be that bad on blue tongue. I'd buy then it might encourage you to go for the hitch climber if that's what you want to do.👍

Love the blue tongue! Although I use(d) a spider jack daily not a prussik and when I did it was the skinny ocean plait stuff but it's a lovely rope to climb on

I'm progressing step by step, I'm in the process of putting a micro pulley behind my prussic knot to tend it on my 13mm Yale Xtc. I'll probably end up on the hitch climber eventually but I don't want to run before I can walk!
