I have one of these and a 12000lb winch. Portable Mobile Winch Mount Bracket Plate suits 8 - 13000lb winch WITH ADAPTOR | eBay

If you have a multi-hole drop plate on your tow bar, you can leave the receiver part on there as well as your tow ball. You could also make a mount for the front to accept it.

I just use a set of heavy duty jump leads to power it, suits me for a bit of log/tree pulling.

Quick release Anderson sockets so you can use at front or back or use winch on another Truck , also you can get jump leads with Anderson sockets too .It won't be cheap running Anderson type cable full length of truck though ,a lot of folk seem to think the Trailer socket is ample But far from it.

I have a 175amp Anderson plug on the rear of my L200, it's a really useful addition. I switched my ifor tipper so it's runs off the car instead of its own battery, I also run a flatbed trailer mounted winch from it. Could easily make up some jump cables to connect to it, 12v grinder, fuel transfer pump if you were carrying a tank of red to site. Well worth doing in my opinion.

+1 on the Anderson couplings but its worth going for the 350amp version if you are using them on a winch. Its also worth the extra for the handles, its so much easier to plug/unplug the critters when wet or icy. Its also worth putting them up out of the way of road grit and crap or get the rubber protective covers for them.
