Greetings VI, And forestry work has to be the perfect industry to practice that philosophy 😀

Yes indeed Ti. My aim however is to continually upskill. By the time I'm 40 my intention is to introduce the chainsaw to my operation. I spend a fortune on mini hacksaw blades and they're pretty slow going, especially on the larger Oaks.

Have you ever considered the reciprocating bread knife ??

A revelation! It would be the perfect transition for you.

What a fantastic idea!

Unfortunately I have a pathological fear of batteries.

That being said, the dramatic increase in efficiency that the bread knife would bring might well enable me to employ a well qualified 12 volt technician to handle the changeovers.

Exciting times!:001_smile:

Is it phobia down to a specific type of battery such as an AA for example or a brand or batteries in general

I have a positively negative reaction to almost all batteries.

Mrs Idiot suggested I try AA's. Turned out just to be a bunch of stubbly men talking about methylated spirits,:confused1:

No help whatsoever.
