What size grapples are people running on there trucks not sure what to get?

I think mine's a 2.3. It opens to 1.8m anyway.

I've got an Auer 260 on my Hiab 085. It opens to 5', I'd say it's the perfect size for what I do at the moment. I swap the grab for chains on the really big stuff.

Great day subbing to another firm.

During the weekends wind this

Large Beech decided to let go of half its canopy into some dense understory.

Lifting it out in sections saved some backache.

Some lovely gear being posted on here. I'm used to seeing the bigger trucks here in NZ but a lot of the stuff from the UK seems to be much smaller so it's nice to see some heavy duty stuff.

Do you find that stacking front to back pushes the sides out?

On my ifor I stack side or side else it puts to much sideways strain on.

I does push the sides out a bit, it's less lumps to load and unload though.
