Starting the next lot of logs today, it's a big job of arb waste but a lot of it is processable which means my dale will be busy.

The length of the pile was aprrox 178ft by 24ft wide by an average height of around 3ft so that gives u some idea on how large it is, aim is to get it all done by Xmas!

#WishMeLuck haha

I can handle some arbwaste from time to time but that huge pile might do my head in

Good on you, looks like you move one hellava lot of logs each season :thumbup1:

Cutting some big stuff through the 12 way splitter today. Satisfying to watch but takes a lot of work to maneuver the logs through and the little tractor was struggling with revs on the knotty oak. :)

Some good pics buddy!

I had some decent sized oak the other day was about 16" Diameter cutting it at 8" length putting it though my 8 way head, it is so much more productive, but even my 60hp international was groaning a little, didn't think the chain was fully sharp as hit a bit of dirt.

Thanks. Our tractor was only 45hp when new so with the 12 way we have to let it split before we can cut the next one. Even then it's still much faster cutting big stuff than small stuff though.

We use our 400joy on a 6400 or 6800 Deere. Absolutely nothing slows it down! The splitter ram has already returned before you can pull the saw back down its that quick.
