Looking for ideas: how to carry a chainsaw on your back?

The crutches are not going to help pulling or pushing that :001_rolleyes: A canvas haversack with a slot cut in the bottom for the bar and hang the saw downwards inside the bag would be my idea or something with wheels and a rack.

Yep, a quad is my go to solution at the moment but in these rains the ground will get way too churned up!

Haven't read though the entire post but have you considered a tatonka lastenkraxe frame I got one at Christmas on Amazon around £100 light weight, attach what you like with ratchet straps. 50kg rating. Loads of adjustment straps so very comfortable I use mine for stalking on the hill. Once it's firmly fixed little or no side to side. Worth a look. Sorry if someone has already covered this one.
