Hello,

 

Just wondering if anyone has had any dealings with FSB or is actually a member?

 

Is it worth it?

 

The only advantage i can see is the legal help if you do get a tax investigation is there any other benefits?

Free business banking is one other benefit and I think free legal advice for contracts etc

I just have it as an insurance, lots of advice if you need it and if the tax man comes knocking they will deal with it!

What do you mean they will deal with it? I'm considering joining also, is it a government scheme!

Plenty of benefits if you care to use them, although we seldom do.

We do use the free banking, saves us a lot of money. And the tax investigation cover is included.

To have this investigation cover is IMO essential, and the cost of buying the cover is roughly the same as FSB membership, so its a no brainer really

Yeah they are spot on it costs me 200 quid a year. The benefits are endless

It's not relevant to any industry. It's relevant to business owners. Along with a wealth of documents to do with all manner of h&s as well as general business advice.

Reads like it would or could also be a business expense or deduction?, as well as a great resource.

FSB is good in some of the services, free banking etc. Its also useful for the networking and marketing of your company.
