Not sure what oil I've been using, I'll check when I get in tonight.

Can I just replace the rings in it? Would be easier and cheaper to do this. I'll maybe pull it apart tonight if I have a chance.

Any thoughts on an air leak? How would I work out if there was one and where it is?

Thanks guys.

Started looking at the saw last night to pull it apart and see what the story is and I found that 2 of the 4 bolts at the bottom of the cylinder that hold it onto the head had fallen out!! So I've ordered spares and once I put them in (with threadlock!) we'll see how it goes.
