Hoping to find some seasoned wood, uncut (to make it cheaper) that I can collect in a car and process it at home.

We've used a few cube already and I want to get some more ready for the cold spell that's forecast

Anyone willing to let some wood go cheaper that I can cut and split at home?

We'll sell un-processed wood to people, but even after 'educating' them that even after a decent discount, do they really want to put themselves through some serious axe swinging for that little bit of discount??

Bump

We're nearly all out of seasoned stuff. Is there anything out three at a reasonable price?

Only alternative is a load of freshly felled and split ash. Is it really ok to burn green?

It's that time of year - anyone got anything I can process at home on a weekend to warm me up, whilst the wife sits on the sofa warming up in front of the fire!

Can collect in pickup, happy to go anywhere round Bristol / South West to collect

Ash burns green but sizzles and not a massive heat output. Give it a few weeks once split and its loads better.

If you want a chimney fire then go right ahead and burn green wood, its the biggest cause of chimney fires.

As advised, split it, stack it, leave it a few months then it should be OK.
