Got me thinking how dangerous it could be and what safety gear could possibly help.

I pondered chain mail but thought ,as others have ,that it might snag and drag.

Have you guys heard of sawstop. Wouldn't be surprised if it was rolled out on ball saws like this soon. It's pretty impressive.
