Battery

A common cause of discharge on a young good condition battery is failed diodes in the alternator. It will discharge slowly overnight. Easy way to check is to use a dc clamp meter. If a vehicle discharges overnight disconnect the plug on the alternator ( all wires and if it is still full voltage in the morning goes some way to confirm it )

If you have a drain on the battery it could be something else where which you can track down by removing fuses until the ampage disappears.

Make sure you don't have an acm battery like they use in the later discoveries. I am not sure you can use them unless u have a new style clever alternator. They may be fine in all vehicles but I have a feeling they don't fully charge and go stale quickly.
