Not mine my friend...anyone who knows me knows I only use stihl....a good mate of mine has got one...he ordered it from USA and cost a grand total of £231...had to wait about 3 weeks...

I know you well Mr Shires and i always thought your weapon of choice was a Bow saw??

My first topper was an Efco, it was not fit for purpose, wouldn't tick over/gutless/bitch to start, I bought a Stihl and literally threw the Efco away.

Buy an Echo, they're good, proper saws, not as good as the big two but good enough.

Granted Echo over EFCO....but thr guy who started this thread said he wasn't a climber and wanted one for occasional use....like all things EFCO could have improved since you had yours....no disrespect.

As long as it's STIHL ORANGE silkster I would use a lolly pop stick to cut with....happy new year by the way....I did get your pm...just didn't get round to reply stage so apologies for my mate.
