Hello everyone

new on this site .

I have a small tree company in n. Ireland and interested in sub contract power line work . We have experience in powerline line work in n. Ireland .

what do we need for work in main land .

Just we heard teams need ua certs . Thats not required in n ireland .

 

 

For climbing you need

Cs30, 31, 38, 39, 40

And ua tickets

Ua1 ua2.1 2.2 2.3

members of working party

persons in trainning

fit and remove drain earths

Fit and remove primary earths

receive lwc up to 275kv

receive pfw up to 275kv

live lv tree cutting

fit / remove lv shourding

fit / lv shorten tress

also myself trainning to sais1 20 switching operations in log book

other team member sais 1 trained switching non interconnected circuits . And lv non interconnected circuits .

Just contact power company's direct and ask what there requiments are for sub contract power line services...and tell them what you have...quick e-mail or call should tell you what you know.
